The Hedgehogs appeared in adverts for THINK! road safety from 1997 to 2008. The adverts were shown to encourage children to follow the Green Cross Code when crossing the road.
The adverts focused on two young hedgehogs: a large one who represented an older child and a small one who represented a younger child. In the adverts, the younger hedghog would attempt to cross the road, only to be stopped by the older hedghog who encouraged his friend to Stop, Look and Listen out for cars before crossing the road.
Each advert would see the older hedghog singing about road safety in the tune to well known songs, e.g. King of the Road in a 1997 advert and Stayin Alive in a 2001 advert.
